Terms of Service

Welcome to MerchOS (“Merch Intelligence OS”, “MIO”). By downloading, installing, purchasing a license, or using the MerchOS desktop software or companion extensions, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. License Grant & Software Usage

Subject to active subscription payment or valid trial activation, MerchOS grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, commercial license to install and run the software on your personal or business desktop workstations.

Single Account Policy: Each subscription license is provisioned for strictly one (1) Amazon Merch on Demand seller account to maintain local SQLite vault isolation.
Local-First Operation: You acknowledge that MerchOS executes locally on your hardware. You maintain complete responsibility for maintaining local machine security and backing up your local database files.
Prohibited Actions: You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, resell, or lease license keys, or attempt to bypass cryptographic activation mechanisms.

2. Merchant of Record & Billing

Our order process is conducted by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com (Paddle Payments Ltd or Paddle.com Inc). Paddle provides customer service inquiries, handles VAT/sales taxes, and processes all payment transactions securely under PCI-DSS compliance.

Subscription Renewal: Paid plans renew automatically on a monthly or annual cadence as selected during checkout unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time without penalty via paddle.net or by contacting contact@merchos.shop. Access remains active through the end of the paid billing cycle.

3. 7-Day Free Trial Policy

Free 7-day trials require no credit card. Trials are granted strictly once per seller email and workstation. We reserve the right to revoke trials if abuse or automated key harvesting is detected.

4. Amazon Compliance & Independent Relationship

MerchOS is an independent desktop intelligence tool. We are not endorsed, certified, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. You are solely responsible for ensuring that all listings, keywords, and designs published to Amazon Merch on Demand adhere to Amazon’s Content Policies and applicable trademark laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

MerchOS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MerchOS and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from lost sales, tier rejections, or account suspensions.
